Kaun Banega Crorepati: The Questions Worth a Crore (or More)
Kaun Banega Crorepati or KBC as everyone knows it is a general knowledge quiz show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan in which participants win incremental amounts of money for each correct answer. The biggest amount one can take home is Rs. 7 crore. But of course, as the prize money goes up the questions start to get tougher. Recently Charna Gupta, a labour inspector from Madhya Pradesh, managed to make it as far as the 1-crore question but she nearly missed winning the money on a guess she decided not to make. Sad! Here’s the question she did not answer:
In 1944, the Battle of Kanglatongbi was fought near which present day Indian state capital?
The answer: Imphal.
And if you think this question is tough, here is a list of the toughest questions ever to feature on KBC. Read them, remember them, you never know when you might be called to the hot seat!
